Chris Wetherspoon

Christopher David Wetherspoon is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, pastor, and worship leader. He has spent over fifteen years leading worship in a local assembly and has ministered musically at many conferences.

In April 2022, Chris completed his first single project at Blue Room Productions in Bethesda, Maryland. His current project was birthed from times of worship in the presence of the Lord. The project demonstrates his songwriting skills and vocal ability. "It's Over For The Enemy" is the title track from an ongoing music project. He is excited about completing this project and has many songs lined up for future projects. Christopher believes that music is more than just a passion, but it is a divine calling, which he is excited to fulfill.

A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Chris enjoys quality time with his family and is bi-vocational. He serves as a full-time pastor and part-time chaplain in an inner city Chicago hospital. Despite having a busy schedule, he sets aside time to worship and write songs. "Music is therapeutic and gives me a sense of joy and fulfillment." Because of Chris' belief in the healing power of praise and worship, he encourages others to sing a new song to the Lord. His favorite scripture is Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Christopher continues to improve by stewarding his gifts, and skills with vocal and guitar lessons. He is thrilled to share his gift of music and the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
